- Position: Handyman / Maintenance Technician

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time
🔧 Position Summary
As a Full-Time Handyman in Bronx NY, you will be responsible for maintaining the property’s overall condition, ensuring that all units, systems, and common areas remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
This role requires hands-on experience across multiple trades and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Troubleshoot and fix issues with doors, locks, fixtures, and appliances
- Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Repair and install drywall, tiles, cabinetry, and hardware
- Handle minor plumbing repairs such as leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements
- Perform basic electrical tasks including replacing outlets, switches, and lighting
- Maintain building aesthetics with touch-up painting and cosmetic repairs
- Coordinate with management and outside vendors when needed
- Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all NYC safety standards and building regulations
✅ Qualifications
- Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance technician
- Strong knowledge of:
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Basic tools required
- Familiarity with NYC building systems is a plus
